ESA letter

A person can practice their rights with their Emotional Support Animal.  But they will need an ESA letter written by a licensed practitioner.

An Emotional Support Animal is not a pet.  It is an animal that provides support and stability for its owner.  ESAs are recognized by the Federal Disability Act. Their owners have some privileges so they can enjoy the support provided by their animal.

Certain rights are afforded to ESA owners, such as the right to live with the ESA free from hassle.  Since an ESA is not a pet, pet fees and deposits don’t apply when renting.   Some colleges recognize Emotional Support Animals.  More ESA dogs and cats now live in college dorms with their owners.
